Wifftoberfest Wiffleball Tournament a Success

Proceeds from the second annual were donated to Alliance for Safe Kids.

The balls were flying as Yorkville Sports hosted their second annual Wiffle ball tournament on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Navajo Fields at the Yorktown Sports Complex. Players around the tri-state area also participated in a Home Run Derby, which allowed Wiffleballers to demonstrate their prowess with the long ball. Proceeds of the event were donated to Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK), a Yorktown based non-profit which provides services for youth and families.

“We are proud to offer this tournament in Yorktown and encourage the community to participate with us in support of ASK,” said Al Morales, President of Yorkville Sports Association, who has organized sports leagues in the New York tri-state area for over 30 years.
