Woman Bails On Court Appearance, Gets Rearrested: Police

She had been previously arrested for such charges as aggravated unlicensed operation and possession of a controlled substance.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Shrub Oak woman was accused Wednesday of not showing up for a court appearance and violating probation.

The Yorktown Police Department said two bench warrants were issued for Brooke L. Tschudy, 29, of Shrub Oak — one for two counts of fail to appear and another for violation of probation.

Police said they were notified Wednesday by the Westchester County Department of Probation that Tschudy was in custody.

They said the Shrub Oak resident didn't show up for a court appearance Nov. 23, which was in violation of her probation, and a court appearance Jan. 4.

She had been arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespass and tampering with physical evidence.

After being processed on the charges, Tschudy was held pending arraignment.
