Work Nov. 12 to Close Taconic Lanes in Yorktown

Lane closures are expected on the southbound Taconic State Parkway on Thursday between the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park Exit and the Underhill Avenue Exit, in Yorktown from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews will perform construction activities, weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all flaggers and traffic control devices, including signs.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
