Work Week Weather: Warm and Stormy
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Tuesday for Somers and Yorktown.

A mild summer Monday will kick off the work week, according to forecasters.
However, things will become more unsettled on Tuesday, setting the tone for the rest of the week, said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
As a front moves north and then east from Virginia, showers and thunderstorms will then press eastward to the Northeast’s I-95 corridor through Wednesday.

“The main threats with the thunderstorms will be brief torrential rain and some gusty winds,” said AccuWeather Meteorologist Ed Vallee, but in general they should not produce damaging winds and hail.
