Yorktown 17YO Faces Multiple Traffic Charges
The youth had been driving with a suspended license.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 17-year-old was arrested Friday in Yorktown and faces multiple driving-related charges.
Police said the man, whose name is being withheld due to eligibility for youthful offender status, was arrested on Flagg Place after he was seen driving on the shoulder.
He was also driving with an obstructed view, police said.

A routine check found that he was driving while his license had been suspended because he failed to answer a summons.
The 17-year-old was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and driving on the shoulder, driver’s view obstructed and fail to maintain lane, all traffic infractions.

He was processed and released on his own recognizance to his mother.
The man is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court March 16.
