YORKTOWN, NY — Several school districts in Westchester County have announced delayed starts for Friday morning, in the aftermath of a snowstorm that dumped 10-14 inches across the region.
High winds, drifting snow, and icy roads are the primary factors.
- Ardsley: 2 hour delay
- Bedford: 2 hour delay
- Bronxville UFSD: Classes start at 10 a.m.
- Dobbs Ferry UFSD: 2 hour delay
- Eastchester UFSD: 2 hour delay
- Elmsford URSD: 2 hour delay
- Good Counsel Academy Elemenatar: 2 hour delay
- Greenburgh CSD: 2 hour delay
- Greenburgh Central No. 7: 2 hour delay
- Greenburgh Eleve UFSD: 2 hour delay
- Harvey School: 2 hour delay, Bus will meet the 9:31 a.m. train
- Harrison CSD: 2 hour delay
- Hastings on Hudson SD: 2 hour delay
- Katonah-Lewisboro SD: 3 hour delay
- Lakeland School Dist Including St. Columbanus & Elizabeth Ann Seton: 3 hour delay
- Mount Vernon CSD: 2 hour delay
- New York School for the Deaf: Closed
- North Salem Central School District: 3 hour delay
- Our Montessori School in Yorktown & Carmel: 3 hour delay
- Pocantico Hill CSD: : 2 hour delay
- Port Chester Public Schools: 2 hour delay
- Public Schools of the Tarrytowns: 2 hour delay, no morning pre-K
