YORKTOWN, NY — Thanks in part to a grant from the federal government, the Town of Yorktown bought a new van to take seniors to the Yorktown Senior Center. More than $50,000 came from the <a href="https://www.tapinto.net/towns/yorktown/articles/yorktown-purchases-new-van-for-senior-center" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Federal Transit Administration</a> and the town chipped in the remain $10,000, tapinto.net said. The 11-passenger van arrived March 8.
