Yorktown Celebrates Arbor Day

Yorktown Arbor Day event: Friday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m. Patriot Garden near Town Hall

The public is invited to attend Yorktown’s 5th annual Arbor Day celebration at the Patriot Garden adjacent to Yorktown Town Hall, 363 Underhill Avenue, Yorktown Heights. The date is Friday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m. There will be a ceremonial tree planting and the announcement of the winners of the student Arbor Day poster contest. Representatives of Con Edison will be distributing free tree seedlings. Refreshments will be served. In case of rain the ceremony will take place inside Town Hall.
