Yorktown Cops: 67-Year-Old Harassed Woman She Said Was Stalking Her
The woman accused of stalking told police she feared the situation would escalate.
YORKTOWN, NY — A 67-year-old resident of Overlook Commons is accused of harassing a woman she said was stalking her.
A Yorktown resident called police July 5 reporting that a woman had twice followed her in her car, blocked her into her parking space, accosted her and accused her of stalking. She told police she was alarmed and worried the situation might escalate.
On July 29, police issued a criminal summons to the 67-year-old. She faces a charge of second-degree harassment and is due in court Aug. 18.
