Yorktown Elementary School Without Electricity Monday
Some students were on buses when the call to cancel classes was made.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown elementary school is closed Monday due to a power outage. The school district found around 8:15 a.m. that there was no electricity at Mohansic Elementary School on Locksley Road.
Some students were already on buses when the call to close the school was made, lohud.com said.
Officials said the school would be open Thursday.
