Yorktown Heights Woman Accused Of DWI
Police said they received a 911 call about an erratic vehicle.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 73-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly driving drunk. Yorktown police charged Annmay Efraimsen, 73, of Yorktown Heights, with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Police said, around 1:10 p.m. Dec. 4, they received a 911 call from a motorist on Crompond Road about an erratic driver.
Officers responded to the area and located the person who called and the erratic vehicle on Elizabeth Road, just off of Crompond Road.

After speaking with the driver of the alleged erratic vehicle, Efraimsen was arrested at the scene for drunken driving, police said.
She was taken to Yorktown Police Headquarters and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party.

Efraimsen is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Dec. 18.
