Yorktown Keeps Long-time EMS Service For 2 More Years

There was a lower bid by another company but the board decided to keep the previous provider.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Town of Yorktown will continue using emergency medical services for the next two years from the same provider the community has used for the past 25. The new contract pays Empress EMS $598,950 in 2018 and $616,900 the following year.

The board went with Empress, which will provide advanced life services, even though there was a lower bid, tapinto.net said.
