Yorktown Library Workers File Grievance Against Town
There are two pay categories for library employees.
SHRUB OAK, NY — Library workers in the Town of Yorktown are upset with their pay grades and have filed a grievance.
Thirteen of the workers at the John C. Hart Memorial library feel they have been lumped into a lower pay scale because of gender discrimination, tapinto.net reported.
Town Supervisor Michael Grace said it was a collective bargaining matter and wouldn’t comment on specifics.
