Yorktown Lion Jim Poulin Elected District Governor

Jim Poulin was just elected District Governor at the Lions Convention held in Binghamton, NY from May 3-5. Poulin vows to serve his District with the same vigor he has displayed as a Yorktown Lion.

Poulin joined the Yorktown Lions in 2015. His history of volunteering – with his wife and fellow Lion Denise – quickly was recognized by the Yorktown Lions. He rose in their ranks from Tail Twister to First Vice President and then President.

Poulin has also received “Relay for Life” awards, Yorktown Lion Rookie of the Year, Lion of the Year, a District Leadership Award, and the Melvin Jones Fellowship recognition.

Jim and his wife Denise – currently president of the Yorktown Lions – make a formidable couple, who share a passion for service.
