Yorktown Lions Celebrate the Year with Their Annual Installation Brunch
The Yorktown Lions honored their members and introduced the 2026-2027 officers and directors.

On Sunday, June 7, the Yorktown Lions celebrated this past year with their annual Installation Brunch at Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant. James Poulin, past governor and past Yorktown Lions' president, served as the master of ceremonies.
Some of the highlights included Tony Guilliano being named "Lion of the Year," JeanMarie Klaus selected as a "Melvin Jones" recipient, and Arlene Ricci being installed as a new member.
In addition, the new officers were presented as the 2025-2026 president Stacey Warren passed the gavel to Steve Shaw, the newly elected president for 2026-2027.

The new officers are as follows: Steve Shaw, president; Stacey Warren, past president; first vice president, Nicole Sobiski; co-treasurers JeanMarie Klaus and Stacey Warren; Denise Gabriele-Poulin, secretary; webmaster, Kristina Iennaco; Jim Poulin, tail twister; Lion Tamer, Anthony Guilliano; and Pam Binetti and Kellie Slater, membership.
Also announced were the new newly elected Directors: Rachel Casatelli, Carol Roberts, Tom McLoughlin, Maria Marks, and Rose McTygue (Emeritus).

Poulin concluded the ceremony by reminding the Lions that the summer concert series (total of six FREE concerts) begins on Sunday, June 28 at 6:00 PM at the Jack Devito Veterans' Memorial Field on Veterans' Road in Yorktown. The "Showtime Dance Band" will be the featured group.
