The Yorktown Lions just participated in the "Battle of Yorktown" on April 20. Now they really become busy with a variety of events.

Yorktown Lions in Action
The Yorktown Lions have a busy schedule ahead of them. The participation in the town’s “Battle of Yorktown” – cleaning of “their” adopted street (Maple Ave) – is just the tip of the iceberg.
The Lions will be providing vision screening at Little Lamb Child Care (Cortlandt Manor) and St. Mary’s (Mohegan Lake). Also, the Yorktown Lions will operate casino night at Yorktown Assisted Living, assist at Artus Memory Care event, and participate in a senior event at Beaver Ridge.

The Yorktown Lions kick off June by assisting with the “Relay for Life” event on June 14 at the Jack Devito Veterans Memorial Field. The Lions will, for example, help in setting up the event, serve dinner to cancer survivors, and assist in facilitating the activity. On June 28, the Yorktown Lions will have their annual installation Dinner on June 28 at Four Brothers Pizzeria Restaurant in Mahopac. Then the summer series begins on Sunday, June 30th.
