Yorktown Man Accused Of Assault
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 57-year-old Yorktown man was arrested March 9 for allegedly assaulting someone. Yorktown Police said Marko Nikprelevic, 57, of Ridge Street, was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
Police said they received a call around 7:26 a.m. March 9 reporting a domestic incident at a Yorktown home.
The investigation found that Nikprelevic hit the victim in the face and caused pain and injury, police said.

He was arrested at the scene and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court.
Nikprelevic was released on his own recognizance. A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.

He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court March 20.
