Yorktown Man Accused Of Drug Possession, Driving Without License

Police had initially stopped the man because of irregularities with his license plates.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was arrested after being stopped initially for having a missing front license plate and an obstructed rear plate. Yorktown police said Christopher See, 53, of Hanover Street in Yorktown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors.

Police said they observed See’s vehicle around 5:38 p.m. May 25 and pulled him over.

An investigation at the scene found See was driving with a suspended license, police said, and was in possession of a quantity of acetaminophen oxycodone, which can also be known as Percocet.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was processed on the charges and released on his own recognizance.

See is due back in Yorktown Justice Court June 28 for arraignment.
