Yorktown Man Accused Of Drunken Driving After Accident
Police said he was following the other car too closely.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of driving drunk after a car crash.
The Yorktown Police Department said Erik R. Migliore, 28, of Yorktown, was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more, misdemeanors, and following too closely, a traffic infraction.
Police said, around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, an officer was sent to a Crompond Road location to investigate an auto accident.

Migliore was identified as one of the drivers involved in the crash.
It was found that he was driving while intoxicated and was following the other car too closely, police said.

Migliore was arrested and taken to police headquarter for processing, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.08 percent or more, according to authorities.
He was released on his own recognizance to a responsible party and is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 23.
