Yorktown Man Accused Of Firing Weapon, Having Illegal Drugs
Police said a search warrant found a firearm and a hallucinogenic drug.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of firing a weapon from his home and having illegal drugs.
The Yorktown Police Department said Marc Anthony Lee, 21, of Yorktown, was charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.
Police said, around 6 p.m. Friday, an officer on an unrelated call said he heard what he thought were fireworks or gunshots in the area of Cording Road.

Later that evening, an investigation found that Lee had fired two shots from a firearm from his home.
A search warrant was obtained by Yorktown police and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety to search Lee's residence.

While the home was secured and cleared by police, Lee was located a short distance away and arrested without incident on the reckless endangerment charge.
The search warrant was executed and police said they found a firearm that was used in the incident and a quantity of a hallucinogenic substance, which led to the drug possession charge.
Lee was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
