Yorktown Man Damages Police HQ Door: PD
Police initially said the man was causing a disturbance outside the headquarters.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of causing a disturbance outside police headquarters.
The Yorktown Police Department said Jan Kluk, 67, of Yorktown, was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Police said Kluk was being disorderly outside the main entrance of police headquarters.

He caused more than $250 in damage to the main entrance glass door, police said.
Kluk was arrested and taken into police headquarters for processing.

He was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance to a responsible party.
Kluk is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Dec. 2.
