Yorktown Man Fails To Show Up In Court, Gets Arrested: PD

His latest court date is May 23.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was arrested after, authorities said, he didn't show up in court as required. Yorktown police said Thomas D. Fazio, 34, of Yorktown, was arrested and charged with three bench warrants for failure to appear for a court appearance on the charges of driving while intoxicated and criminal obstruction of breathing, misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment, a violation.

Police said the court date had been set for May 9 at which time Fazio did not appear.

He voluntarily surrendered himself May 21 at the Yorktown Police Headquarters and was placed under arrest.

Fazio was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and released on $800 bail.

He is scheduled to return to court May 23.
