Yorktown Man Jailed After Alleged Attack on Woman
She had an Order of Protection against him, police said.

Jack H. Kahan, 69, is in the Westchester County Jail on $50,000 bail after a Yorktown police investigation into a recent reported assault.
Police said that on June 28 an officer was dispatched to a Yorktown home for a past domestic incident. Now police allege that Kahan pushed a woman to the ground.

His contact with her was in violation of a Temporary Order of Protection issued by the Westchester County Family Court, police said.
He was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, police said.

He was not charged over the physical altercation.
He is due back in Yorktown court July 7.
