Yorktown Man Left Baby In Car While At BJ's: Police
Police were called at 9 p.m. May 25.
YORKTOWN, NY — A 38-year-old Yorktown man accused of leaving a baby in a car while he shopped at BJ's Wholesale Club faces a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Yorktown police said they received a call at 9 p.m. Wednesday from a witness reporting that an infant had been left alone in a car at the parking lot on Crompond Road "for an extended period of time."
Police said an officer went to the scene and found the man at his car.

He was charged with a misdemeanor and is due in court June 9.
