Yorktown Man Punches Victim, Causes Injuries: PD
A judge issued a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victim, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of punching someone during a domestic disturbance.
The Yorktown Police Department said Timothy K. Brunelle, 36, of Yorktown, was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
Police said, around 12:20 a.m. Sunday, officers were sent to a domestic disturbance at a Yorktown home.

The investigation found Brunelle punch the victim with his fist, causing injuries to the victim's head, shoulder and back.
Authorities said the injuries were treated at the scene, after which the victim was taken to a hospital for further medical attention.

Around 12:30 a.m. Brunelle was arrested and taken to the hospital for medical attention.
After being released from the hospital, he was taken to the Yorktown Police Headquarters where he was processed on the charge.
Brunelle was arraigned by a judge who issued a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victim.
He was released on his own recognizance and instructed to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Dec. 16.
