Yorktown Man Sleeping in Car Faces Drug Charges

Christian E. Eynon, Sr., 40, faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, a Class D Felony, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, also a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers conducted a welfare check March 8 of an individual sleeping in his vehicle at the Shell Gas Station located on Crompond Road. Following an investigation, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, Eynon, was in possession of cocaine and a black jack weapon.

The Yorktown resident was arraigned before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to return to the Town of Yorktown Court on March 10, 2015.
