Well, technically, he's from Mohegan Lake. Evan Bray edged out a seasoned food competition-ist and Channel 12 (Connecticut) news-person in a 90 minute, two secret ingredient--two dish, food competition that followed The Next Iron Chef into the "commercial" break. Technically it was a commercial, but it was a real competition.
[editor's note: This competition occurred two or 3 years ago and Mr. Bray is obviously trying to humanize himself in light of his recent struggles with the town; he actually doesn't seem that crazy and can cook, to boot.]
