Yorktown Police Arrest Woman For Harassing Child
She wanted the child to apologize to her son.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Peekskill woman finds herself facing a child endangerment charge after allegedly harassing an 8-year-old.
Police said Tiffany Costa, 29, of Main Street in Peekskill, was charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a minor.
Officers were sent to an East Main Street address in Jefferson Valley to investigate a report about an 8-year-old boy who was harassed by an adult.

Police found that Costa went to the home, grabbed the child and demanded he apologize to her son. The child was scared and scratched as a result.
Costa turned herself in and was arrested at Yorktown Police Headquarters Feb. 28.

She was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court and release on her own recognizance.
Costa’s next court appearance is set for March 28.
