Yorktown Police Blotter: Tire Slashing, DWI and Failure to Appear on Unlicensed Driving Charge

Three recent arrests by Yorktown police

April 28: Nicholas Demargo, 25, of Yorktown, was charged with criminal mischief and criminal contempt, both misdemeanors. A Yorktown resident had her tires slashed, and police investigation led to Demargo, against whom the victim already had an order of protection. He was sent to Westchester County Jail on $5,000 bail and is due back in Yorktown town court May 5.

April 28: John W. Drenga of Yorktown Heights added an arrest for failure to appear to a prior charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Now he’s due back in court May 26.

April 24: Robin Hawkey, 45, of Ossining, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after Yorktown police investigated a call about a vehicle being driven erratically on Kitchawan Road. He is due in court May 26.
