Yorktown Police To Close Roads For Veterans Day Parade

YORKTOWN, NY — The Yorktown Citizens Veterans Day parade and ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12. The parade will begin at Lakeland High School and continue on East Main Street to the John C. Hart Library grounds where there will be a ceremony at the Shrub Oak Veterans Monument.

The Yorktown Police Department, to provide for the safety of parade participants and spectators, will close the following roadways temporarily to accommodate this event:

• East Main Street from Lakeland High School east driveway to Sunnyside Street
• Stoney Street at East Main Street
• Stonegate Road at East Main Street
• New Road (east end) at East Main Street
• Dane Street at East Main Street
• Frost Road at East Main Street
