Yorktown Police Find Accused at Rikers
He allegedly passed a counterfeit $100 bill at a local store.

On June 7, 2015, Yorktown police were called to Ginny’s Wine and Liquors where it was reported that a man had used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for merchandise and then fled.
The suspect was identified as Alfonso R. Forney, 36, of the Bronx. Unable to find him, police issued an arrest warrant.
On Jan. 19, Yorktown officers arrested Forney at Rikers Island, where he was being held on an unrelated charge. He was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony. He was sent to Westchester County Jail on $10,000 bail and is due in Yorktown court Jan. 26.
