Yorktown's Craig Schulman Receives ArtsWestchester's Annual Award

The man will be honored at the luncheon on Thursday, April 4 at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains.

Yorktown resident Craig Schulman, the only performer in the world who has performed the title role in three of the most extraordinary musical characters, is being recognized by ArtsWestchester.

The renowned Broadway performer and producer is being honored at the luncheon on Thursday, April 4 at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains. 

The Arts Awards annually recognize individuals and organizations whose vision, commitment, and leadership enrich Westchester, its communities, and its citizens through the arts, officials said in a statement.

Schulman has performed in Jekyll and Hyde, Andrew Lloyd Weber’s The Phantom of the Opera, and Jean Vanjean in Les Miserables (which he played on Broadway and around the world).

He is also the creator of “Jenna’s Dream” charity in honor of his late 6-year-old daughter. The charity acts as a scholarship fund to provide money to local outstanding high school seniors planning to pursue a college degree in the performing arts.
