Yorktown Volunteers Collect Donations For Relay For Life
Passersby offered to give the drenched volunteers a warming beverage.
YORKTOWN, NY — Passing motorists gave what they could to the Yorktown Relay for Life volunteers May 5 during a drenching rain. Armed with purple collection buckets and signs, the volunteers held rain boots to take the donations.
Passersby offered to buy hot beverages for the volunteers and employees at Starbucks provided hot coffee, tapinto.net said.
