Yorktown Will Open Cooling Centers As Temperatures Soar

YORKTOWN, NY — With heat index values between 95º F and 104º F this week in Westchester County, the town is opening three cooling centers.

Those without air conditioning are urged to visit one of Yorktown's cooling centers:

John C. Hart Memorial Library

Open Weekdays 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Closed Wednesday, June 19th

Jefferson Valley Mall
650 Lee Boulevard
Yorktown Heights, NY 10598
Open 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.

St. Mary's Episcopal Church
1836 E Main Street
Mohegan Lake, NY 10547
Open Tuesday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
