Yorktown's Halloween Parade and Carnival is Saturday

YORKTOWN, NY — Co-sponsored with the Yorktown Lions Club, the town of Yorktown's Halloween parade will take place Saturday.

Kick-off is at 2 p.m. at the Yorktown Plaza Park, in front of Rexall's Yorktown Pharmacy.

Participants will march to the Yorktown Community & Cultural Center, where there will be a plethora of outdoor Halloween activities, costume showcase, hay rides and entertainment.

Yorktown Police Chief Robert Noble reminds residents that due to the parade, three roads will be temporarily closed: Hanover Street at Commerce Street; Commerce between Veterans Road and Downing Drive; and Veterans Road between Commerce and Maple Hill Street.

This is free to all Yorktown residents, and no registration is required — just show up!
