Yorktown's Santa Run Set for Sunday
Santa will be making his way through the community on a fire truck.
YORKTOWN, NY — The 2016 Santa Claus Run is set for Sunday, Dec. 11 in Yorktown.
The jolly old elf will be riding throughout the Yorktown Height Fire District on a fire truck along with Yorktown’s volunteer firefighters, according to information on the Yorktown Heights Engine Company No. 1 website.
Organizers said route times — found here — are approximate and residents should be aware that all fire units are in service to respond to alarms.

The rain or severe weather date will be Sunday, Dec. 18.
