• Columbus Drive Road Closure (thepilot.com) — Columbus Drive in Aberdeen will be closed for construction from the evening of Monday, Oct. 5, through the morning of Monday, Nov. 30, sending local drivers onto a signed detour. If you rely on this route from U.S. 15-501, plan extra time, follow NCDOT's alternate path, and watch for changing traffic patterns through the long closure.
