The project, tied to a $1.4 billion public-private financing package, supports the US Army's domestic drone program and could significantly boost local jobs and economic activity.
   

• Teen Hospitalized, Suspect Arrested After Johnston County Stabbing (jocoreport.com) — A 17-year-old was seriously injured in a stabbing early Sunday morning in a parking lot just three miles south of Benson, drawing a response from the Johnston County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say the teen met 18-year-old Ulises Perez after an ongoing dispute, where a fight led to the stabbing and Perez's arrest on a felony assault charge.
