11-Year-Old Boy Shot In The Leg At Charlotte Apartment Complex
An investigation is underway after a boy was shot at the Little Rock Apartments off West Boulevard Sunday, Charlotte police said.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have launched a shooting investigation after an 11-year-old boy was shot in the lower leg at an apartment complex parking lot Sunday.
The incident occurred at Little Rock Apartment complex, located on Leake Street in Charlotte.
The boy was transported to an area hospital, where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury, police said.

According to WSOC, police do not believe the boy was targeted by the suspect, who fled the scene.
