16-Year-Old Charlotte Girl Dies Falling Down Waterfall
A 16-year-old girl from Charlotte died on the Fourth of July after slipping down a waterfall over 120 feet up.

SAPPHIRE, NC — A 16-year-old girl died the afternoon of Wednesday, July 4, after going over Rainbow Falls at Gorges State Park, reports say. H'Money (pronounced mah'-nee) Siu was identified on Thursday, according to FOX.
Siu and her family were visiting from Charlotte, reports say.
The area Siu fell from was very dangerous, FOX reports Katie Hall of North Carolina State Parks as saying. She and an 11-year-old slipped and fell into the water at the top of the waterfall, Toxaway Fire Chief Carmon West said.
