2017-2018 School Calendar: Important Dates For Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools
Summer is in full swing but kids will be heading back to class before you know it. Here are all the important dates for CMS schools.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Summer’s in high gear, but kids will be heading back to school before you know it.
The first day of school for the 2017-2018 school year for Charlotte-Mecklenburg public schools is August 28.
The new 2017-2018 calendar accounts for 177 days of instruction. Here are some highlights:
- First day of school: Aug. 28, 2017
- Labor Day holiday: Sept. 4, 2017
- Teacher workday: Sep.21-22, 2017
- Teacher workday: Oct. 30, 2017
- Holiday: Nov. 10, 2017
