The region's biggest holiday parade takes place in uptown Charlotte Thanksgiving day. Here's how you can watch.
CHARLOTTE, NC — The region’s biggest Christmas parade takes place in uptown Charlotte Thanksgiving day. This year marks the 72nd year of the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade, which brought out an estimated 110,000 live spectators in uptown Charlotte last year.
Can’t make it to uptown to see it in person? Don’t worry, there are other ways to watch the Charlotte Thanksgiving Day Parade.
WHEN IS IT?
The parade begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28 on Tryon Street. It will proceed south from 9th Street to Stonewall Street.

HOW TO WATCH
There are a number of ways to catch the parade this year, starting with in person in uptown Charlotte. The festivities will also be broadcast throughout the region on WBTV, Channel 3 at 4 p.m., as well as again on Christmas morning.
The parade will also be shown live on the parade's mobile app and will be streamed live at 9 a.m. on WBTV's Facebook page.

North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade -- Davidson and Cornelius' annual holiday parade featuring high school bands, horses, dancers and tractors will be held after Thanksgiving.
WHEN IS IT? The North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1:30 p.m.
HOW TO WATCH: The parade begins on Main Street in Davidson at the intersection with Griffith Street and goes into Cornelius, finishing at the intersection of Highway 115 and Catawba Avenue.
