38 Traffic Citations, 3 Break-Ins Reported: Davidson Police

Davidson police handed out nearly 40 traffic citations last week. Here's the rundown of recent crime reports around town.

DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson police handed out nearly 40 traffic citations last week, according to police department records.

Officers from Davidson Police Department issued 38 traffic citations for various offenses, as well as four citations that require mandatory court appearances, for charges of speeding and displaying fake or revoked tags.

Three breaking and entering and larceny cases were reported in Davidson last week, according to Davidson Police Department's blotter. Those incidents occurred on Caite Ridge Road, Catawba Avenue and Julees Walk Lane. A vehicle was also broken into on Aug. 22 on Mock Circle.

There were no arrests recorded in Davidson last week, DPD said.
