54-Year-Old Man Shot Dead In Driveway: CMPD
A murder investigation is underway after Charlotte police found a man shot in a driveway on Jennings Street late Sunday.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A murder investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death in a driveway outside a home on Jenning Street north of uptown late Sunday evening.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to the home in the 1700 block of Jennings Street after receiving a 911 call shortly before 10:30 p.m. June 10, where they found Adam Truesdale, 54, with gunshot wounds.
The victim and a second person had been in the driveway when he was shot, an initial investigation revealed, CMPD said.

Truesdale was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Main, where he was pronounced dead, making him the 26th murder victim in Charlotte in 2018, according to the Charlotte Observer.
