UPDATE: Missing 68-Year-Old Charlotte Woman Has Been Found
A 68-year-old woman who went missing after walking away from her home has been found and reunited with her family, according to police.

UPDATE: Barbara Jean Brooks has been located at a credit union and is being reunited with her family, CMPD said.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- A 68-year-old woman with cognitive issues is missing after she walked away from her home Tuesday afternoon.
Barbara Jean Brooks was last seen in the 1100 block of Clanton Road around 1:30 p.m. on June 20. Police fear she may be disoriented. She is described as a black female with brown eyes and black hair.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police ask that anyone with information about Brooks’ whereabouts call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
