Update: 11 Year-Old Girl Missing From Double Murder Scene Found

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 11 year-old girl believed missing from a home where her caregivers were found dead.

Police are asking the public for assistance in locating Arieyana Simone Forney, 11, after responding to a Sunday morning call to the 7500 block of Glencannon Drive and found a man and woman dead on the scene.

Police say a white 2005 Chevrolet Impala with North Carolina tags PAV4294 was seen leaving the scene prior to first responders arriving. Officials say Forney may likely be with one or more adults driving the vehicle.

Forney was last seen at her residence on Glencannon Drive, police said in a statement Sunday afternoon. It is unknown what she was last wearing, but she was known to wear stud-type earrings, they said.
Forney is a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5’1” and 130 lbs, police say.
If you see her or the vehicle, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police ask that you call 911.
