Missing NC Toddler Found Safe After Abducted In Stolen Car

An amber alert for a for a toddler missing since the car he was in was stolen Sunday night has been canceled after the boy was found safe.

HIGH POINT, NC — An amber alert for a for a toddler missing since the car he was in was stolen Sunday night in High Point, North Carolina has been canceled after the boy was found safe in Davidson County.

The alert was issued after one-year-old Legend Goodwine was abducted while in the back seat of the stolen four-door gold colored Acura TL. Monday morning, both the car and the toddler were located in Davidson County, High Point Police Department said.

According to High Point Police Department, the car taken from 1100 South Main Street location has a NC license tag “FES 4626” and may have front end damage. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue shirt, grey hat and blue jeans, HPPD said.

Goodwine is described as a light skin black male, approximately 2-feet tall and weighing about 20 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing an orange tank top and was wrapped in a Ninja Turtles blanket, police said.

Police said that anyone with information regarding this abduction or Goodwine’s location should call High Point Police Department immediately at 336-883-3224. or call 911 or star HP.
