FORECAST: Feeling like fall this week (wsoctv.com) — Expect a much nicer stretch of weather in Charlotte this week, with clearing skies today and afternoon highs in the 70s and low 80s after a cloudy weekend. Mornings will feel fall-like, dipping into the 40s and 50s, and your next decent chance of rain doesn't arrive until next weekend as a storm system and cold front move through.
3. Megachurch pastor Craig Groeschel follows Tim Tebow in suspending ties to Life Surge (roysreport.com) — A major megachurch pastor has pulled out of upcoming Life Surge events, including one planned in Charlotte, after reports that the organization pressured attendees into costly faith-based investment courses. The move follows similar pauses by Tim Tebow and Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla, while Life Surge denies wrongdoing and says only a small fraction of attendees buy its high-priced training programs.
