Argument At A Charlotte Business Ends In Homicide: CMPD
A man is dead following an argument at a Charlotte business early Wednesday morning.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A man is dead after an argument at a business on Albemarle Road in Charlotte Wednesday morning, according to Charlotte police.
CMPD responded to the scene in the 5600 block of Albemarle Road shortly after midnight where they found an adult male with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
According to police, two patrons got into an argument inside the business, and one went to his vehicle to retrieve a gun. He returned to the business and pointed the gun at the other patron. Meanwhile, a third person witnessing the altercation pulled out a handgun and shot the victim.

CMPD has not yet released the identity of the victim, pending family notification. This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
