Armed Robber Hits Two Charlotte Hotels
Thief has robbed two hotels on the same road. CMPD is asking for your help.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Twice in the past month, an armed robber has targeted two Queen City Drive hotels, pointing a firearm at workers and demanding money. And twice, he’s gotten away.

The suspect robbed the Microtel Inn at 3412 Queen City Drive on March 2 around 7:31 p.m., according to police reports. He returned to the area again April 3 around 10:14 p.m. when he robbed the Quality Inn at 3105 Queen City Drive.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for your help in identifying this suspect. They say he is a black male in his 40s, about 5’9” and with a heavy set build.
